Payslip for Retroactive WAGE TYPES with Asterisks

HI,

Just wondering whats the process of creating Asterisks marks next to the Wage type entries from Retroactive periods on Payslip forms.

Please outline the steps involved. Thanks in advance.

Pretty much standard, I assume you use CEDT technology, so you go to PE51 tcode and edit your payslip:

Line layout

1) you create different type of line layout where the first one does not have an "*" (non-retro period); while the second one does... (retro period)

Layout group

2) you need to differentiate in layout group distinctive line for regular and retro result using the set or delete split type option and assign the matching line layout.
