Payguide(salary ranges) are getting adjusted on the basis of FTE?

Hi Experts

We need our salary ranges should not be adjusted on the basis of FTE. Hence, we would like to include below code in XML . But it keeps deleting once changes are saved.

isActualSalaryImported="false"

Any option/workaround to save the changes? kindly let us know

If we make the changes as isActualSalaryImported="true": then it saves the changes. which is by default feature .

My understanding is that for this tag, it is expected that since it is set to false it is removed from the xml.  The behaviour of the template should still follow a false flag.  Please advise if you are seeing different behaviour.

Another option to explore is the use of a custom FTE field to display true FTE but setting the standard field to 1 (which is default if not used).  This blog and associated comments/questions is extremely thorough, so I suggest you review if you haven't already FTE and Proration examples in Compensation - SAP Community
