pay components deleted in manage pending hires reappear in workflow and cause error while approval

Hi,

Activity/Process- Deleting "Hourly rate" pay component data in compensation section of Manage Pending hires. Adding Annual salary after that. But it shows up again in workflow and shows an error that "Error while uploading Pay Components: Only one PayComponent can be assigned with the value of Used for CompPlanning as COMP or BOTH".

This is because Hourly rate is set to "Comp" and Annual Salary is set to "Both". But this is happening after the release. Before that no such error was showing up in the process.

Can you help here?

Hi I am atsu.

I have encountered the same problem that deleting pay component from initiator or inflight change during workflow does not affect and reappear pay component that aleady deleted after approving workflow.

Do you have any reason and solution to resolve it?

Unless there's a business rule reapplying it (which means you'd be urged to remove those from the business rule too), you may need to log a ticket on this 1.

Okay. But I see this as part of bigger problem. When I turned off Enable Centralized Services to Save Changes on the Manager Self-Service UI for Change Job and Compensation Info in system, processes were back to normal.
