Hi
Does anyone manage to create a story report showing the pay component group amount?
I already activate the paycomponent sync and cant see the info in ad hoc report
but for some reason, I can show it Story report
I tried to create a custom field with the calculation but then I faced a different issue - unable to present all records in the same currency
Tnx

Hi tal.levy.cellebrite,
Yes the videos in the blogs refer to the compensation and variable pay modules so the information shared is specific to them. You should be able to create a custom calculation to sum various pay components that make up the pay component group using a starting EC domain. I'm not sure if you will be able to access any currency conversion tables but you should be able to hard code the conversion rates as well in a custom formula worse case. I have not yet built this type of report.
You can also try adding the EC tag to your question as since the data is coming directly from EC, it's more relevant there and you may get additional responses.
All the best

Hi tal.levy.cellebrite
You can access PCG from EC in ad hoc or Table Reports. Easiest way is to create a report under the Person and Employment Info as of date domain. The PCG are under Employee Pay Group Sums usually at the very bottom.
Unfortunately it is not yet possible to report on PCG in Story Reports but as these are calculated fields, you could re-create the calculation in a custom field by summing the applicable pay components.
Alternatively if you are running a Story Report from the compensation worksheet, the PCG data will be stored there and you should be able to run a report using the Compensation Planning domain in story report.
Hope that helps,
Christian

Hi tal_l
I have never built a report pulling data directly from PCG in EC however wanted to point to these recordings by my colleague Christian Smith in case they can be of help. I do believe that she pulls all information (including annualized salary = pcg from Compensation domain however).
All the best
