Hi Team,
I need to learn how to encrypt a base64 of a PDF with a password protection in SAP CPI.
Is there any standard available to add password protection to PDF or any open source Jar file available for the requirement?
Or is there any method to add password protection to adobe forms without using external OSS commands.
Please help.
Thanks & Regards,
Akshay Ruia
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Akshay Ruia,
did you checked SAP Forms service by Adobe in SAP BTP, ABAP environment | SAP Blogs this here.
As standard in the SAP Integration Suite, is no Adobe Service.
What is your use case?

Hi Sebastian,
Thanks for the update.
Scenario is as below:
We need to send the password protected PDF's(payslips) as attachment in email to employees.
in SF ECP, we are currently using adobe forms to develop payslip and have written the custom report to generate Base64 for the PDF.
The base64 will then be sent to CPI for emailing to employees.
We are stuck at adding the password to generated PDF/base64 before sending it to employees.
Thanks & Regards,
Akshay
Ok, than you should have a look on that SAP BTP Service SAP Discovery Center - Forms Service by Adobe (cloud.sap)
Best regards
Sebastian
