Org Chart filtered by Company Code or Business Unit

Our leadership is requesting to be able to filter the Org Chart by the Company Code or Business Unit. This means to show only those positions who pertain to the specified company or business unit.

I see the following options:

Option 1 – Position Org Chart: Add a "Search By" option like Business Unit or Company Code and be able to filter the org chart result only by this field.

Option 2 – Company Structure Overview: Filter by Company Code but displaying only those positions that really pertain to that Company Code. In the example below you can observe that the system is mixing positions from different companies:Any idea if the above is possible or perhaps an alternative?

Based on my experience, I believe the only way to do this by creating different role based permissions to the org chart for those groups, and limit what they see by a target population. There are no filters within the Org Chart itself.
