Options to extract data from Successfactors

Hello All,

I am working on a scenario to integrate Successfactors with our data hub platform where we will use this data to build dashboards for the business. Our first idea is obviously to use SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) in between to pull the data from SF and write it back to our data platform. Of course this uses the standard APIs delivered by SF containing both OData and SOAP.

I would like to know from your experience, is there any other tool or best practice to extract data from SF? For example we have SDI to extract data from on-premise SAP ERP systems to HANA. Similarily does SF support any standard adapter which can pull the data in incremental mode? What do you recommend?

Regards,
Sandesh

Hello Sandesh,

Below are the few options I could see.

If SuccessFactors data requires too much transformation then best to go with SAP Cloud Integration.

If you are looking for some kind of connector that pulls you raw data ( with very very minimal tranformation ) then you can use SFSF integration center ( which supports SOAP,REST and FILE ).

If you want to call SOAP or ODATA APIs of successfactors from any other platform it is possible.
