Operations of master author in SEN

Hi,

Is it possible to find what operation a master author did exactly in centralized collaborative enviroment?

We are a team with 5 master authors who edit SEN content. When I navigate to Protocol option in Producer, I can find who edited but unable to get the info of what they did.

Else do I need to ask all master authors to enter Logging Comments before Finish Editing ?

Hi Mani,

It is not possible to see what was specifically changed about a content object, just the date and time that the change occurred and which author made the changes. You can see through details through the History field in the Protocol section of properties, as you mention. If the author were to enter a comment during the process of Finish Editing, that comment would also be available to provide an indication of exactly what had changed with that specific version. Outside that, there is no other way to know, other than to Revert to a previous version and look for changes.

Thanks Shane ❤️ I have got the clarity now.

One last question please,

When I export the Excel from Tasks tab in Manager, I can see two columns like Attribute 1 and Attribute 2. Can you please tell me what is the use of these ?

Hi Mani,

Now I understand what you did. Sorry, not sure about Attribute 2, it always seems to be empty, but Attribute 1 is the Version number of the corresponding object. That column also contains details of whether specific versions have been published.

Hi Mani,

Sorry, not sure what you are seeing. When I export Task details from Manager, I end up with a spreadsheet containing about 20 columns of information. Each of these columns has a column heading to indicate what type of information is in that column, e.g. Task ID or Task Title.

Please confirm how you generated this content, i.e. the specific steps, because I don't see what you are currently seeing.

Regards
Shane
