Opening direct links for published simulations from SAP Enable Now

Hello Team,

We have recorded and published simulations in SAP Enable Now (SEN) work area. For each Simulation, we have the direct link to access and view the simulations. We have shared these direct links with the users, already configured in SEN.

When a user clicks the direct link for any simulation, they are first taken to the SEN page and not the simulation screen directly. Strangely, when the user clicks the link second time again, then Simulation screen opens directly. 

Any reason why this happens? Am I missing anything?

If it is cloud SEN, could it be user create or something that is first happening?

Hi @AngadJadhav, 

I assume this issue occurs with your SAP Enable Now Cloud with SSO implemented with Okta and the SAP Identity Authentication Service tenant not being used as a proxy.

If true, then please add the SAP IAS tenant in the authentication flow as SAP Note 2823440 recommends. Some identity providers like MS Azure AD are not that "picky" on the ACS URLs, so after successful authentication, the user gets redirected to the web address the request came from. Other IdPs like Okta, are strict, so when the request comes from the https://your_sen_system.enable-now.cloud.sap/pub/workarea_name/index.html?show=project!PR36783648AHSJH, Okta will drop the path and will send the user back to the ACS URL it has in the settings which is https://your_sen_system.enable-now.cloud.sap. Once the user is authenticated, and the session cookie is stored in the browser, when the user tries the same URL one more time, they'll see the requested content.
