Dear SF - Community,
we are currently rethinking the the way we structure our Development Interviews. We would like to have a more continous approach to development goals.
In order to achieve that, we would like to have one ongoing Development Goal Plan which will then be pulled in the yearly Development Interviews. In order to achieve that we would like to configure the Performance/Development Form (goal section) to only pull in ongoing Development goals and not the ones with a status of "completed".
I searched through various KBA's and looked at the config options but did not find anything - Can anyone advise on a way how we could achieve that?
Thanks in advance and best Wishes,
Salim

Hi sabelk
There's no standard functionality to filter goals based on the status. One workaround I can think of is to use the category field as a new "status" and then you can filter in the Performance/Development form by category. For details on how to filter by category, please check the kba below:

Hoping this info be useful to you

Hi Johann,
thank you for your answer.
I also thought about this workaround, I see a major drawback with this solution though. If you repurpose the category field in this way, I suppose the view in the newest goal management would be strange:
Currently you can filter goals via these "Status Bubbles" at the top. In case you remove them, this filter option would be gone / Look weird?
Unless there is a way to automatically have the fields aligned?
Best Wishes,
Salim
