Hello,
how would you handle the following problem?
We created the item "A" with a duration of 2 hours.
Then we planned classroom trainings with 2 hours. But in some cases the same training takes 4 hours.
We choose the same item because all training details are the same. Only the group of users is bigger and so more time is needed.
In the library the duration is always shown with 2 hours.
This is a bit confusing for all courses which are longer than 2 hours.
Perhaps you can give some best practice examples.
Regards
Guido

Hi @Guido,
The item duration can be adjusted at the subsequent class level by adjusting the class segments themselves.
I suggest you download our SAP SuccessFactors HCM Training Materials Guide from the Digital Library at https://dam.sap.com/mac/app/p/pdf/asset/preview/MqoPXdx?ltr=a&rc=10
And use p179 of Admin Help at https://help.sap.com/doc/844cba6db4b0477e92867df6c24a2109/2405/en-US/SF_Admin_Help_en.pdf
If a class presents a different duration that the "default" duration at the item level, it will reflect in the library view when displaying the various available classes.
Hope that helps
KR, Frederic
