Hello,
Currently, we are not using reminder emails for certain offboarding tasks in our live environment. We are now considering enabling this functionality via the email services settings.
Before proceeding, we would like to understand whether activating these reminders will apply retroactively. Specifically, will employees who have already been terminated and still appear in the offboarding dashboard receive these newly configured reminder emails? Or do these changes only apply to offboardees whose termination occurs after the email reminder settings are enabled?
We’d like to avoid any unintended reminders being sent to former employees.
Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi @louis_oli4
I believe these reminders will still send to those already terminated and sitting in Offboarding. However, it depends if those already terminated are not anymore active in the system - they will not receive emails anymore. It will only affect those you have triggered termination event but still active in the system.
Keep in mind, Schedule OFB Meetings is an exception. This email can still send to the personal emails of the terminated employee. So if you will configure a reminder for this task. I believe it will still send.
