Notification at lesson assignment is not sent to the learner

Hello,

When assigning a lesson via the Manager to a learner, there is no email sent to the learner despite we have changed the Server Setting : Notification at assignment to be "Always".

What other setting shall we make to have the notification sent to the assigned learner?

Hi Somanea,

I think this won't work for learners. Notifications are for tasks and workflows within the auhtoring team. So in your case the defined setting is if you assign a task to another Author then he gets a message.

If you want to inform learners about a new or updated course please use the message function (Administration > Messages):
