replace formula in Set Bonus Claculation of your existing template with :

(customSTITarget/100)*(customEligSalary*customFTE)

The error message is pointing to the formula here :

Is customFTE part of the background element for employee history ? could any of these fields have been removed in the background element tied to your template ? That's the issue
