New release feature: Enhanced Welcome Email Notification

Hello everyone,

So on this new release (2H 2022) we have a changed minor feature: Enhanced Welcome Email Notification
I'm thinking why is this important, why would someone restart the process before the new hire data review?
The only reason for restarting the ONB process on that stage would be because some data change, but that can be done exaclty on the nex step (Review new hire data step) or by HR on the dashboard (New hire data - action buton).

So can someone help me understand what's the useful purpose for this feature?

It's useful if the start date changes after the forms have been signed. Also, useful start dates that might effect compliance documents and other data points that perhaps managers might not have access to such as National ID..

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer 🙂
Few questions:

- Forms being signed in which stage? If in recruiting we would have to actually Cancel the ONB process and not restart it.
- And regarding National ID, the managers might not get to review that data, but when you restart the process right before New hire data Review, the next step available after restart will be exactly that review step (New hire data review step); and besides that the HR would always have the opportunity to change that field using the action button on the onboardees process (New Hire Data); and specifically about the National ID, is also a field that should be filled or reviewed by the onboardee (No?), since it's a personal information field.

That's the thing, I' trying to understand what reason would take people to restart the process before new hire data review (which is basically the beginning of the step) that couldn't be solved with the actual New Hire data review step or with the change of data by HR on the Action within the onboardee's process (By the New Hire data option there).
