New Manager not able to View approvals on home page or Learning page

Hello, 

When a course approval is sent and the old manager is inactivated, the system redirects the approval to the new manager. 

However, when the new manager is logging into the system, the approval is not visible on the new manager's home page or inside the approvals section of the learning page. 

Kindly help with the resolution.

After trying the above and changing the manager in employee profile, the SF user connector was run. However even after the sync is run, the new manager is not able to view the approvals in the Learning page or Home page.
