In the Below Question, The Correct answer is 4. Manually Adjust the value of the transaction and re-run Comp&Pay.
The reason you do not want to adjust the Credit is because when you adjust a credit that adjustment is locked for that calculated credit. By that, I mean that if you updated a Credit from say $100 to $200. When Comp and Pay is rerun, it will forever keep that adjusted value of $200 (Unless you manually reset the credit), no matter what the transaction value changes to. So if the Transaction is reloaded later with a corrected value, even if the credit should be a new value of $225, the Credit will still show $200 because it was adjusted to be that value.

Hi, Jagan,
I looked over Carol's responses and I agree. It looks like this mock exam has a large number of mistakes.
I would go to the SAP Commissions certification page and go over the mock questions there; you can do so at no cost and the answers will be correct.
Best of luck on your certification!

This is in my opinion a very tricky question, as it really is just asking do you know where the All Negative Payments option is? Because a balance from last month not showing in the current month could have absolutely nothing to do with negative payments, it could be a positive balance that has not been Posted in a finalized period and pushed forward into the current period.
So essentially, its saying: Where do you find the Allow Negative Payments Option. And that is only in System Perferences. So the correct answer is 2.

You are correct, The leaf-level Unique Identifier is 3.) Classifier.
I am not sure what they are meaning by a Root Category, unless they are implying the Category Hierarchy itself, which has to be Unique, but it would not be considered leaf level, but rather the "Trunk" of the Category Tree. Perhaps the Root Category is meaning the Classifier Type, (which also must be unique), but again, that is not considered the leaf level of a Category Hierarchy (Category Tree).

I agree that answer 3.) is NOT correct, Because it says its Rolling a Commission (Not a Transaction/Credit), this implies an Incentive rule where the Commission total has been Calculated.
However, you can not roll a deposit result.
In addition it says it does not roll up to the Regional Manager, If the Sales Manager and Regional Manager have a plan with an Indirect Credit rule rolling from the Sales Reps Credits, then it will automatically roll up the hierarchy as far as it can. Where as Rolling Measurments/Incentives only goes up one level at a time and stops.
So the only correct answer in my opinion is 4) Unless the Commission is calculated at the Credit level (which is only in certain design situations) and then you have to make sure there is no Indirect Credit rule on the Regional Manager plan.

This question is a bit tricky, because it just says resetting pipeline data. If you do a Reset from Validate, it will reset all results AND remove the transactions that were imported for that period/batch that was reset. This is typically done to reload the transactions to fix an issue in the previous file. This is never done to remove data that is no longer required, because if that period is ever rerun, it would need that data to accurately calculate again.
However, because this is saying resetting pipeline data - it implies all results reset. This actually does happen every time you run a Comp & Pay for a period, so answer 2. does reset all results. But it is asking the purpose, which is really to reset everything back to 0 without deleting, so that it can be refreshed.
So 3.) is correct.

The correct answer is 2: Per Credit Incentive Rule. in the below picture. Two reasons being:
1.) A Rate for each Sales Transaction (As you said below)
2.) This scenario is describing the use of a Rate Table, and an Incentive Rule is the only Rule you can utilize a Rate Table.
I believe the answer shown below the question here, (4.) Is incorrect, as a Bonus Rule could not apply a rate to each individual Sale.
