Need to find SF Learning 'Email Notification Template' to change wording and can't find

I am trying to modify in SuccessFactors Learning specifically a email notification that someone else in the company has created.

I looked through all 'Email Notification Templates' (210 of them) which are found in System Administration\Manage Email\Email Notification Templates to try and find specific wording that is in the email notification, by clicking on tabs 'Messaging' and 'Preview' to look at the actual message, and I am unable to find the exact 'Email Notification Template' to modify. Specifically the subject line of this one is entitled: Supervisor Approval Required for username. This user has sent a request to be enrolled in a class, and this has an approval that is required by the supervisor of the user. The wording needs to be altered, but I can't find the specific 'Email Notification Template' to alter the wording, even after viewing all 210 via Preview.

Are there other places that I should be looking instead for this specific 'Email Notification Template'?

Here is a snippet of some of the text from the email.

I tried to find by Subject, by the word 'Hello', searched on approve, supervisor etc. to no luck.

Anyone have any ideas if I need to be searching in an entirely different place in SuccessFactors Learning?

Wow, I finally found it. I was incorrectly clicking the 'Preview' button when I should have been pressing the 'Launch Editor' button.

It was the original Email Notification Template I analyzed, but I pressed the wrong button.

It was indeed the ApprovalProcessApprovalRequired Email Notification Template.

Thank you everyone!

It looks similar to my ApprovalProcessApprovalRequired email.

When doing key word search try and be vague so for this I would search: Contains 'app' in the ID and then in the description. That way you will get 'approve' 'approval' 'approver' etc.

I find this document handy when trying to find email notifications: https://help.sap.com/doc/dcf4116453734b0183bb3c23a09fb8c5/2211/en-US/SF_LRN_Modifying_Notifications....

Good luck! Sam

Have you already looked at the class level notification vs item level?

Yes, it is not there either.

Weird. What type of item is it?

I looked at the ApprovalProcessApprovalRequired 'Email Notification Template' again, and this isn't the one.

I also looked at the custom notification at the item level (which I did before, but just reviewed again to be safe), and nope it's not one of those.

I am perplexed.

You think I should ask this same question in a SAP Problem Ticket? I thought maybe they could do a search in a database for some of the specific verbiage to see where it is coming from?

Hey michaelwright !

Is this happening for a specific item or class? Could it be that this specific activity has a custom notification at the item level?

Only template I found that could be it is- ApprovalProcessApprovalRequired
