MSS Timesheet Approval - user locked

Hi, we are implementing wda HRMSS_C_CATS_APPROVAL. We notice that if a pri is locked (PREL) and supervisor tries to approve the pending timesheets, the timesheets are still getting approved, no message raised, but transfer to HR does not take place and infotype(s) 2001/2002 are not created. Can someone explain what is the intent of this ? We believe, if an employee is locked, supervisor should not be able to approve and message should be sent. Not sure if we should raise an incident... Hi, I would like to add that same behavior takes place when approving timsheets through the backend transaction and the pri is locked. So this may not be related to the wda. We would really like to understand what is the intended behavior when approving timesheets while the pri is locked. Hope you experts can help ! THanks,

During approval process of the recorded time sheets requests will not direclty update in the HR time infotypes. The approved request will be stored in interface tables and then later It will be updated in background job execution of the posting reports.

Hi, what we don't understand is WHY are the timesheets getting approved in the case when the pri has a PREL lock and supervisor tries to approve the timesheets ? It does not seem like the right behavior, we were expecting to see some message "Employee xxx is locked". Is this normal ? Thanks,
