Hi all,

Greetings,

We are working on E-Recruiting in standalone architecture.

We are experiencing a problem with MSS E-Recruiting services. Kindly have look into the below services and it's behavior.

Requisition monitor: It showing the Requisition which was created and released by Recruiter. But Manager can't open and see it.

Questionnaire: Error - Unfortunately, the system is unavailable at the moment; try again later

Data overview: Error - Unfortunately, the system is unavailable at the moment; try again later

Requisition Request:

Requisition request overview: showing Manager Name in the dropdown.

Create Requisition: All the Dropdown and Push buttons are not working. When we clicked, It is not fetching any data from E-Rec system

Here we are using Standard from S_HRMSSRCF_REQUISITION, process is HR_MSSRCF_REQUISITION and ISR Scenario is SRQ3.

Maintain substitute: Working fine and able to look for other employees whose data available in E-Rec system

All services are working for Recruiter but not for Manager.

***Now my worry is all above services and I have few doubts in this connection.

***Can you please let me know for which System(E-Rec or HR core) these iViews should connect?

We have connected all these MSS E_Recruiting iviews to E-Rec system.

Can anybody please let me know how to resolve this.

Thank you in advance.

Hello Sekhar,

two ideas on this issue:

  • the MSS is running on the HR core server and calling the eRec system via RFC connection. The RFC connection has to be set in table T77S0 so the onnection can be established. The switch in T77S0 is ERMSS LOGSY. The description here is a bit misleading. You have to create an RFC connection and specify it in T77S0. It is not sufficient to just enter the logical system name of the eRec system. In transaction SPRO this setting is found under Integration with other mySAP.com components -> business packages / functional packages -> manager self service (mysap ERP) -> recruitment.
  • make sure the manager has an internal candidate on the eRec system

Kind Regards

Dear Roman,

Thank you very much for the reply.

As you mentioned, the above activities have already maintained.

ERMSS LOGSY - Logical System for RFC connection with ERecruiting. And maintained the same in IMG  path mySAP.com components -> business packages / functional packages -> manager self service (mysap ERP) -> recruitment.

I have maintained the above all in HR system.

Apart from from the above, did I miss any other mandatory configurations for MSS E-Rec services?

Kindly revert me with your valuable inputs.

Thank you.

Hello Sekhar,

If the candidate exists on the eRec system and the connection is set up properly the only thing which comes to my mind would be checking the ALIAS settings in portal so the applications are actually processed on the correct system.

Everything else would require more detailed look in debugger and the usual check of log transactions SLG1, SM21, ST22 on HR Core and eRec servers.

Kind Regards
