Move the employee's hire date to be backdated date in Successfactors

Dear Experts,

Employee has been hired on a wrong date in the system and the data is being in the system for a longer time. Now I would like to amend the hire date to the backdated date. Indeed it is not permitted easily straight away.

Can you please suggest me a way to amend this?

If the hire date correction doesn't work, you have to go through the different effective dated portlets (starting with job info - the hire record) to change the date. That way the hire date will also shift to the desired date
