Month on Month Attrition Percentage Story Report

Hi,

Can someone please help me on feasibility of below two requirements.

1. Can we create Month on Month dynamic Attrition Percentage Chart in Story report?

Note: Attrition percentage should be calculated basis of (Number of Termination/Average employee count between the period) *100

For example: We need to see attrition percentage for the Month Jan-2023, Number of Terminated employees count in Jan month divided by average employee count (total employees count till 1st of Jan + Total employees count till 31st Of Jan divided by 2) *100.

2. If Month on Month is not feasible, can we have date range filter to show Attrition Percentage?

For example: Date range is from 1st Jan 2023 to 31st March 2023 - Attrition percentage should be calculated basis of Number of Terminated employees count between Jan - March months divided by average employee count (total employees count till 1st of Jan + Total employees count till 31st Of March divided by 2) *100.

I actually have a same question and i tried using calculated columns with fixed measures. I reached to an extent but in the formula, the system throws an unusual error.

let me know if you find an approach.
