Missing "Save to Server" option in Instant Producer

We faced an error after recording one of the SIMs, we didn’t get an “Save to Server” option. Do you know why that would be the case? How we can mitigate this issue?

Attaching a screenshot for the refence.

Hi Mayuri,

do you using the Cloud Edition or On-Premise Edition of SAP Enable Now. For Cloud customers this option should be there automatically if you call the Instant producer from your Manager Environment. If you are a cloud customer and has call the Instant Producer via the Manager and the Save to Server option is still missing maybe something is blocking the connection to the Manager. I would suggest to send us an incident message by using component KM-WWPB-IPR.

On Premise customers need first to set up a connection between Instant Producer and the Manager Environment:

To set up a connection to the Manager, you can start the Instant Producer from its workarea screen. This file contains all the necessary settings for establishing a connection. To do this you need to be able to access the Manager. If this is not the case, contact your administrator.

To establish a connection to the Manager, proceed as follows:

1. First, log on to the Manager with your user data.

2. Select the workarea where the projects of the Instant Producer are to be stored.

3. Select Open Instant Producer to establish a connection.

4. Select the download dialog box on Open. A dialog box with the URL and the user login is opened. 5. Enter your password and select Ok. Afterwards, all the available resources from the Manager are downloaded to your local system.

6. Confirm the process dialog box with Ok and restart the Instant Producer. The Instant Producer is now connected to the Manager and you can start creating your projects.

I hope that helps to fix your issue, if so please accept this answer 🙂

All the best, Michael
