I would like to know about the mid year go live process for Oman Payroll in SAP HCM. Especially on the Absence management.
We are in S4 Hana. Absence Quotas that are delivered for Oman Localization are Annual Leave (Carry Fwd) (01), Annual Leave (10) and Exam Leave (80). So for the other leave types SAP does not recommend Absence Quotas. So my doubt is, how to handle the leave balances for a abs type without abs quota.
Example : an employee can take 182 days of sick leave per calendar year as per Oman Law. But there is no Absence quota maintained. Assume employee has used up 100 days between Jan to July. So when mid year go live say in Aug, the balance 82 days only must be available for the employee. How to do this. This is crucial, since the valuation is as per various slabs for the sick leave.
Kindly share your inputs. This is urgent.
