Hi
I am unable to generate any documents. While trying to do that, I am getting this message "Microsoft Word Initialization failed". My MS Word is licensed and working very well. But unable to generate (Able to generate few days before. Not now).
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Mani,
If you try to open Microsoft Word on your machine, without Enable Now, does it open? I have seen this issue twice before:
1. The user was able to fix the issue by re-installing Word
2. Microsoft Word was not licensed so would not open on the user's PC. The user had to license Microsoft Word to fix the issue
Regards
Shane

Hate to say the obvious but have you tried rebooting? Sometimes the Word process can get hung up. (Maybe go into Task Manager and kill winword.exe if it is running. Otherwise, what changed since it last worked? Something did.

Hi Mani.
Have you tried on the different desktops or laptops? could you share the steps for how you are accessing the report(either browser or SAPGUI)?

The "Microsoft Word Initialization failed"message can be quite puzzling. Since your Word is licensed and previously worked fine, it could be due to some recent changes or conflicts. Try repairing your Word installation or updating it to the latest version.

What version of Word do you have? Student edition won't work, and I'm not sure about 365 cloud version either.
