Mentoring Relationship (Maximums)

Hello!
In the Mentoring documentation , it mentions that a mentor can get 20 requests at a time and that a program and that the system recommends up to 10 mentors to the mentee in all types of mentoring programs.

We are wondering : is there a mentee-mentor relationships limit we can set?
Examples: a mentor can only have 10 mentees overall (meaning throughout all the programs that are available)? or vice versa, a mentee can only have 4 mentors throughout all of our programs?

Hi Renee, At this moment the Mentoring features do not offer this ability across all mentoring programs in standard. If that request is of concerns for your organization, I would suggest:

1. to submit an enhancement on Sap Influence portal and/or vote for similar request.

I found an interesting Influence idea under review and which could be transposed to a pop informing a mentor that they have reached a matching limit across all programs.

2. share the idea created or voted with your Customer Success Partner or your account executive to understand how this need could be further considered.

Hello Renee, apologize for this delay in our answer.

You can indeed set a maximum number of Mentees and Mentors you want to allow your program participants to have. After the program is created, admins and program owners can still change match limits in program overview pages.

In addition, when mentors sign up for a mentoring program, they can also adjust the number of mentees they wish to be paired with, up to the limit defined for the program. In the example where an admin change the Mentee per mentor limit from 5 to 8 after the program starts, mentors can be paired with 8 mentees rather than the initially configured maximum of 5, or they can be paired with the personal maximum they set themselves.
