MDF Update and trigger a workflow when new hire is completed and approved.

We have a specific requirement involving an MDF object, accompanied by an on-change rule designed to update certain values from persona information, position, and hire date. The objective is to seamlessly trigger a workflow to the manager once a new hire is completed. However, upon attempting to update the MDF object, the on-change rule fails to function when MDF is updated from Integration center, and the workflow doesn't initiate as expected. Additionally, when employing the same rule on save within the Integration Center, an error is encountered.

Desired Outcome: The MDF should be automatically updated with employee name, position, and hire date. Furthermore, a workflow should be triggered to the manager upon successful completion and approval of a new hire. Essentially, the manager needs to be informed to communicate with the candidate and acknowledge them on the hire date.

Let me try to understand the requirement, you need to raise a workflow to the manager once a new hire is added to the system, right!? Why you don't use the workflow to be triggered by the hire? What is this workflow about, just a notification or an approval workflow for the manager?

Thanks for responding to my query. below is the screen customer wants to trigger to line manager, to accept that employee new Employee Job Commencement, since there is no straight forward solution to this, we want to create a custom MDF with below information and trigger this as a workflow when new hire is completed upon completion of all level of approvals for hiring, so that manager can act on this custom MDF and approve
