Mass action in compensation is not working as expected

Dear SF Compensation Experts, @xavierlegarrec ,

When we try to apply Mass action in compensation, and we enter the Increase/Decrease as any value, the sum of the increase/decrease is not coming equal to the number that we want to apply.

does it work with filters and the total value that we enter is applied only to Filters users or to all users in the compensation template.

Does it includes changes applied earlier as well?

To describe better: we entered a Mass action to Increase 100 Euros for only 2 filtered only.

Emp A: Current Merit is 27, new merit is coming as 31 only

Emp B: Current Merit is 41, new merit is coming as 45 Only

So the increase is in a way only 8 Euros but our ask was to increase 100 Euros. Why it is not working as expected.

Many thanks in advance

@naveenaNehra26 yes according to implementation guide Filters are respected.

If you could share the template by email at xavier (dot) le (dot) garrec (at) sap (dot) com it would be helpful we could check a few things in it.

This way we can check a few things like the EUR being the functional currency for the template and more importantly whether you have hard guidelines or budget stops that could explain the behavior.

Hello Xavier, Many thanks for your quick response, I checked in the template, The function currency is Euro, the guideline Hard limit is configured but the status in the file is coming as Changed, not Guideline Minimum reached or Guideline Maximum Reached, the budget exceed is allowed although, I will attach the screenshot here for your reference with these 3 settings.

I did a few more tests and the amount that we enter is considered annual and hence it is divided by the units per year and then applied during Mass action, is this expected? When I run it on Annual Salary, it is working correctly.

Yes it is expected behavior, we will work on adding this to the documentation on the implementation guide and on the KBAs related to mass action like this one here : https://userapps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/en/2471632
