mapping STUD_ID to Username instead of User_ID possible?

Hello,

I have a question about the mapping of user data fields in Learning.

Usually the STUD ID is mapped with the USERID in LMS: sfuser.field.mapping.data.STUD_ID=USERID.

But is it possible to map the STUD ID with the Username instead of the User ID?

I want to make sure this works and doesn't cause any problems before I make the change directly in the system.

Hi Monja,

technically it would be possible to update the mapping in the SF user connector to map to Username instead of the User ID, but clear recommendation from SAP is to do not change the mapping.

The User ID is the unique identifier across the BIZX suite and will remain with the User the whole employment, the Username instead can be updated. I see issues with the integration to other modules EC (Concurrent Employment) CPD and internal SSO and even feature within the LMS for example eSignature could have issues with a different mapping.
