Hello,
I am currently importing employee data for a client that is migrating to SuccessFactors. We have had several iterations of the migration, and after the last iteration, the client decided not to import a certain type of data, Compensation Information.
Is it going to be possible to import the rest of the data without any issue or is it a mandatory field that must never be avoided, when importing employee data? Are there data types that are essential for data migration at all, without which the import of the rest of the data will not work, return an error etc.?
Kind regards,
A.

Hello A.,
You can safely proceed with other imports in correct order of Employee Central User creation without performing Compensation Information data import.
2080146 - What is the Correct Import Order When Creating Users? - Employee Central
Compensation information import is at the last 6th step of this order, hence you may skip it.
However, it is mandatory to keep Compensation Information and all other HRIS element enabled in your data model even if you are not using it.

Note: Any element that is enabled must have at least one field enabled in that element. If you do not, App error's will occur in the hire wizards
