Managing Performance Forms for Employees on Global Assignment

Dear all,

We have recently implemented a new performance management process in SuccessFactors and are currently reviewing how to manage employees on Global Assignment.

When an employee starts a Global Assignment, a new CID is created and the previous one is deactivated. We would like to understand whether it is possible to automatically launch a new performance form for the new CID at the start of the assignment, while also transferring objectives and existing information (such as comments) from the previous form to the new one. In addition, we would like the new manager to receive a notification.

Did it ever happen to you to manage this kind of topic?

Hi @DP4 

With the available business rule scenario Trigger onPostSave Events for Job Information, you can launch a Performance Management form. One possible option would be using as a condition Event Reason = Add Global Assignment so when that happens a new form is created.

As for the existing performance goals,  the Manage Individual Talent Data Transfer tool, where you can transfer data from an inactive employment (source) into a target employment would not be applicable since the Home assignment is paused (dormant) which does not qualify as inactive employment. 

However, the option Transfer Goal Between Users would allow to transfer the performance goals between the userID (home) and userID-1 (host).
