We have an assignment profile containing users who work in CA or their WAH state is CA, to assign specific state-required training. I also want to dynamically assign the managers of that group of employees living in California. It doesn't matter where the manager resides, but I need to identify if they have California employees who report to them. My AP group for these managers only allows me to search the user ids with the CA state. And the number is over 2000 so I can't include them all to submit to the filter of the search, so the system wants you to break it up into smaller batches of IDs. I don't want a giant list of IDs in the AP, I want the criteria available.
I thought about creating a custom field for the managers but it would require another integration step because the data goes from BizX to Workday and then to SF LMS. I prefer the AP method, but if necessary, we might have to choose to add curriculum to the managers via the learning management tool instead. anybody had a similar need and solution?
