How Leading companies use Machine learning in HR Software to Dramatically improve efficiency?

I am not sure of what is your exact business problem which you want to solve or what is your system architecture and software that you use. I would think, that anything which has a definite pattern and repititive with huge effort consumption is the first thing, where you can think of building machine learning applications and if software can learn and execute the same tasks or not. I have seen it being used in small steps in Shared Services within Finance Area.
Specifically in HR, it could potentially be used to start with provisioning of learning courses. You might want to read through some of the interesting blogs:
