Logical (feeder) system cannot be determined

Hello Experts ,

I'm working on IDES , ERECRUIT 605

After Filling External candidate registration form , the candidate is suppose to receive confirmation mail but this doesn't happen.

when i trace the errors in tc: SLG1

i found the following errors :

1.Logical (feeder) system cannot be determined

  2.Error with the communication with the search engine

3.No status information available for object 01NA50064000

Can you help please

Hi Sara,

Is your TREX up and running? You can check that with transaction TREXADMIN. It seems that either it wants to create the change pointer and fails or no HRP5102 entry exists for this candidate.

No i didn't install TREX , is it mandatory to be able to send the confirmation mail ?

Not in that case but without TREX you won't be able to perform searches, see the assignments of requisitions and so on.

I am facing the same issues in IDES system while releasing internal candidate profile, I would request you to share the solution and fixes you done for your system to resolve the issues.
