Log part of the day absence but count it as a whole day

Hello,

We have the following customer need:

• They use Time Tracking
• There are situations when an employee clocks out in the middle of the day (not exactly in the middle but before the end of the planned shift). The reason is, let's say, employee got some sickness
• Employee goes home and logs an absence for the day
• Customer need to count this fraction of a day as a whole day

So, the question is:

Is there a possibility for a fraction of day Absence to be counted as a whole day absence?

Any suggestion on the matter is more than welcome!
