Loading Learning History Record without Completion Date(connector)

Is there a setting that would allow loading a Learning History record without a completion date (via connector)

Context- Some history records need to be recorded as No Shows/Incomplete and no completion date is desired corresponding to these.(blank field preferred to dummy date)

Is this supported by the system?

(So far a 6014- Completion Date cannot be null error is encountered)

The completion date is part of the unique key for the record, and as such, cannot be null.

For No Shows, (presumably instructor led items) could you use the date of the class they were supposed to attend ?
