LMS SF User Connector filter by Department

Hi all,

We have multiple business units in BizX and 1 business unit or Department wants to use LMS. If we were to configure the SF User Connector, is it possible to filter out only the department users I specify? I guess we can use the Integration Center, but want to know if this is possible with the standard SF User connector.

If you don't want to user the IC export job (which I would recommend to use), but the old provisioning job, you can limit the job owner of that export job via the RBPs to just have permission to access the users from that department and therefore only these would be in the export.

But again, strongly recommend to use the IC export job, which still involves the user connector anyways, it is just another way how the actual export file is created, but you have a lot more flexibility in adding/ filtering users and structure the data.

@PVarma, I wouldn't be able to comment from the Integration Center (IC) side, but if it's possible to create a user_data file IC only containing the that specific business unit, the Field Mapping for User Connector - SF could be reviewed to map the department with one existing standard field in Learning or to map it with one custom field. Ideally, this should be first attempted in preview to avoid unwanted data in prod.
