LMS - How to lock an item AND use the SCORM Exam Detail

Hi,

Is it possible to enable the lock feature and run the SCORM exam detail report on an item? my understanding is if you want to lock an item it needs to be published in SCORM 1.2 and to run the SCORM exam report the storyline file needs to be in SCORM 2004.

Is this correct or is there a workaround to get both lock and scorm report working?

Hi Janelle,

In my understanding the lock feature is applied to the Platform (LMS) Level and not at Content (SCORM).

The SCORM content is the source of the information, its means that the content provide (depending of version) the course final score, results of tests and quizzes, answers, bookmark, time spent, progress, overall status etc...

So for your answer I think that you can set in the LMS the number of attempts to lock the Content and run the report to catch all information about the exam.
