LinkedIn Learning Catalog Refresh

Hi everyone, 

We’re facing challenges with LinkedIn Learning catalog refreshes in SAP SuccessFactors LMS. When LinkedIn updates course IDs, titles, or metadata, it impacts:

• Reporting structures (broken links, missing titles)
• Learning assignments and historical data
• Internal tagging and categorization

Currently, we rely on the Open Content Network (OCN) integration for daily sync, but issues still arise when courses are deprecated or replaced. We’re considering:

• Maintaining mapping tables for old vs. new course IDs
• Scheduling regular refresh activities
• Automating detection of metadata changes

Questions for the community:

• How do you handle ID/title changes without losing reporting continuity?
• Do you use any tools or scripts for catalog comparison?
• What refresh intervals or governance processes work best for you?
