line manager unabel to approve employee goal

Hello Commuinty,

please I will like to know why a line manager cannot approve an employee's PIP goals, the approval button is greyed out. I will appreciate if I can get useful suggestions and guidelines.

Hi Umeh, There are two possibilities

1. The permission given to line manager is not correct

2. The current step holder must not be a manager for the employee

I can think of these two possibilities only , pls do let me knw if this is the case.
