License on SAP SuccessFactors Succession Planning

Hi SAP Community,

We have a query on the license issue of the succession.

Is there any Limitation on License for Succession Planning Module in SAP Success factors. We have limited licenses of Succession Planning as in it is not available for all the employees. Will it impact the implementation or can we anyways go ahead? Could you please let us know

Hi, can you clarify how the succession license from SAP is calculated in your contract?

1. The total number of positions that you plan to nominate for? In this case, you may restrict your Succession Planning target population to only the highest levels of the organization - instead of each and every position down through individual contributors.

or

2. The total number of Succession Planners? (i.e. the HR Reps, Business Leaders, Managers that plan to make nominations?)

or

3. The total Number of Nominees? (i.e. the people that are identified as potential successors on all of the positions that you are planning for and receive 9-box ratings)?
