Library view - price and item description

Hi everyone,

we have two issues that we would like to adjust in the learning library view. Firstly, the word "Estimated" next to the price should be removed besides the price as it causes confusion for users. In addition, we no longer want to display the description of the item in the library. We only want to display the title in the library without any descriptions.

Are there any possibilities to realize this?

Different classes or segments can override item price and be different for each & alternatively different libraries can have the separate costs associated and a user can have multiple library access with varying prices on each and users had the potential for different currencies as well, so the prices can't be shown only with one without the label properly, but you can remove the label, see 2597029 - Remove label for estimated price

Hi, thank you very much! Unfortunately I can´t find the Label format.CatalogSearchResults.ApproximatePrice in our system anymore. Is there maybe another possibility? Best regards Anna

@AnnaFa, "format.CatalogSearchResults.ApproximatePrice" is the label ID. Searching for it in an environment under the 2505 version, this label was found.

I have checked and we are on version 2505.20250424082811. So I guess I can´t find the label IDhere anymore?

That's interesting. The label should be found via its ID. Can you check the Learning version: Learning Administration > System Administration > Environment > Version?

Hi, the learning version is b2505. I have checked now under Manage Labels and found the ID and deleted (estimated). But unfortunately it does not work for the new learning experience. Estimated is still there. Is there another label ID for the new experience?

It's possible that the change in the label didn't reflect in real time. Can you check it today?

Unfortunately the word "estimated" is still there in the new learning experience. In the old experience, it is not displayed anymore. I guess the Token is no longer functional in the new learning experience. Do you think I should create a case for that issue?

Do you have the debug locale installed to verify the label being used (KBA 2913764)?

Yes, but there is no debug code for that field displayed. The debug codes are only visible at the Learning administration. I have also found the Text in Manage Languages on the plattform under "pfs_search_svc_price_estimated_free". I have changed that, but it has no effect on the learning experience.
