Has anyone implemented a custom field with a rule to calculate the length of service to take into account multiple employments? We have a custom field set up, but the rule we currently have doesn't account for whether the person was terminated and later rehired. We are looking for a solution that accounts for the total length of service time, if the person was hired on 1/1/2021 and finished on 1/1/2022 and then rehired on 1/1/2023 the length of service should be 2 years at the beginning of 2024.
Request clarification before answering.
Unless you want to work with custom mdf(s) and integration center jobs in the backend or unless you will have some sort of integration built in middleware, that will be close to impossible sadly.
