Leave GL balance

Hi Expert,

ever year at the beginning of the Year (January) the balance of "Annual leave GL" increases significantly & later at the end of year it becomes negative.

Hi,

First of all, the balance is not negative by the end of the year, judging by your screenshot, but merely in December. Overall balance is being increased during the year. Second, this disproportion in monthly activity could be caused by closing and cut-off postings. And the last, but not the least: there is no system issue here. If you are an accounting officer, you should investigate the nature of the postings and make your conclusions. If you are an SAP consultant, then, once more, there is nothing wrong with this picture.

This question should be to your accounting business owner as how the colleague expects the GL balances to look like and how it should be posted. You could start with a basic research on what kind of transactions have been posted, look at the GL Postings and go to your business owner with this set of information.
