Leave Encashment EC

Dears,

Our customer ask is to calculate the leave encashment policy by using the below formula in EC module

Leave encashment = (Basic + VDA)/30

1. Rates per day should be auto calculated by (Basic+vda/30) for all employees.
2. User should only be able to enter number of days to pay out.

Can you please analyze and tell us if this is feasible?

If you are referring to the payout feature in time off (which would normally already cover the 2nd requirement as users can choose specific time accounts and can only select numbers of hours/days dependent on what the frequency is) and wish to apply this, that would be rather impossible as the feature by default only does the payment based on the hourly rate (and nothing else). The only things you could work with are changing the hours per week/month/year to cover for part of the calculation or you'd need to work with calculated fields / extra pay components to do any further calculations.
