Leave balance negative after termination, need to be zero or actual available. How to resolve this?

After termination action the leave balance shows as negative in the portlet instead of actual leave balance. Hiring Rule and Termination rules has been assigned. Tried changing the termination rule but the results comes in negative.

Its because you book 0 (hence basically so do nothing). If you want to bring it to 0, you need to counter book it:

But the period end processing rule which we used in the time account type is given below.

This is the rule used, even then we get the leave balance is in negative. Is there anything need to be changed?

I have found a solution to post (Balance 0 minus absences taken), that will make the balance zero.

Hi jayalaksh,

what you're doing in your termination rule is that you are just creating a time account posting of 0 days. So, this will not have any impact on the balance. With the termination rule you are not creating the balance, you are just creating one account posting. The sum of all account postings then make up the balance.

I assume that it will work if you post the opposite sign of the current account balance (using rule functions).
