Hi,
It's possible to import Learning History data on LMS without an item created? I just need the Record on the User, and I don't need the item.
Thank you,
LF

Hi Francisco,
It is not possible to import learning history records without an item, because the LMS needs at least some basic information to create the history record e.g. item title / item type.
You have the following options:
1. Create/import the items you need for the learning history import > Import the learning history records > Set the items to inactive (inactive items will by default not be displayed in the admin item search)
2. Create an external learning event manually in the system. Navigate to Learning Administration > Manage User Learning > All Learning History for Multiple Courses > Select "External Event" > Enter course title > Select users and record the event.

Option 2 will allow you to record multiple learning events for multiple users without the need to create an item in the system (but you can't import this information).

Hi,
Good, thank you a lot for this information.
The last question, regarding that info, when you say on 1st point "create/import the items...." how do i import the items?
1."Create/import the items you need for the learning history import > Import the learning history records > Set the items to inactive (inactive items will by default not be displayed in the admin item search)"
Thank you,
Hi,
to import items, you can use the item connector. Please have a look at the following Help article Engage Certified Partner to Import Data to SAP SuccessFactors Learning | SAP Help Portal and KBA on how to import items - 2473708 - Item Connector Support & Tips - LMS - SAP ONE Support Launchpad
If you have never worked with LMS connector before, it can be a bit tricky to setup the file and be aware of that created items (and learning history) cannot be easily deleted from the system. If you are not comfortable to do the import yourself, please engage a professional service team.
