Learning Data Prevention

This is in regards to Learning data. When there is any change in EC data example: rename of any entity like business group, department etc with the same external code, the new values comes in the learning system but the old values also remains in the Learning system.

Just wanted to check if there is any way to prevent this so that we can have only updated values in the system not the old once.

There are certain fields the LMS will update vs creating a new one, but if the integration method is creating a new one then the only option is to inactivate (or delete if not being used and is not a historic primary key) the old reference in the LMS directly.
