Hi,
Is there a way to ban learners from skipping steps in a simulation (Demo or practice) ? (So that we know that they actually completed a training...)
Request clarification before answering.
Is this for the cases where the jump target option is selected ?

Jump Target controls whether the user can advance to that step by clicking on the Next button. Show in Progress Display creates a 'point' on the Progress Bar the learner can select to jump to that step. Hiding the Navigation Buttons will prevent the first; hiding the Progress Bar will prevent the latter.
Yes. Hide the Navigation Buttons (and the Progress Bar if you use Jump points) on the 'Control Bar'. That will prevent them from being able to do anything other than the action in the Simulation. They'll still be able to close it, but will have to go through each step.
