Hi there,
I'm trying to anonymize a screen area in a simulation. I've done this a couple of times but it does not work this time. I restarted the Producer but still it does not work. Does anybody encounter the same problem or is it a known issue?
Thanks a lot in advance.
Regards
Esther

Hi Dirk, I recreated my local workarea and everything is OK now. Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi Dirk,
It is obviously only me but it is a reproducable error that occurs every time I use the feature. I guess it is my workarea. I'll check it with another colleague with more time on Monday.
Thanks a lot for your help!

That is exactly what I'm doing (see my screenshot). I have done this a couple of times before and it worked just fine, so I assume there's something wrong with the system. Are you working with the most recent cloud version?

OK I see your screenshot now. So when you click "Confirm" you are not seeing it take effect? Odd, I do. And yes, I am using the latest cloud version. Is it a specific simulation or screen? Does this only happen to you, or are other users in your instance have this problem too? If only you, it's likely something corrupt in your Workarea so I'd suggest recreating it (assuming you've already synchronized). I'm not aware of any changes that would affect this. If it continues to happen, you may want to open a ticket. But like I say, it works on my end. Anyone else out there see this problem / see it working?
Hi Dirk,
Thanks for telling me that the feature works OK for you. So, I assume I'm doing something wrong.
Are you working with the cloud version?
I right-click on the screen, select "Anonymize Screen Area".
Then I select the area I want to anonymize and click the little checkmark at the top left (see screenshot). The window closes and the area should be anonymized, but it isn't.
Thanks again!

What do you mean by 'does not work'? It works OK for me. What are you doing and what are you seeing happen? (Or not happen.) Pay attention to the options at the top of the screen - the type of 'anonymizing' (color fill, pixellate, etc...), etc.
